If someone is calling me the I have to flip open the phone and it automatically connects, if the phone is already open it lets me choose to accept the call. I have AT&T, How can I flip the phone and allow myself to accept or decline the call?

It's in the settings of the phone. Just go and change the ring options

i wanted to know that when my son calls me from our verizon home phone to my mobile Verizon phone, do i lose minutes?
also if he calls me from his Verizon mobile phone to my Verizon mobile phone then do i still lose minutes? its not a family plan.
