If I where to hook up a motorola razr to my computer using it's USB cord, which motorola mobile phone tools should I download that will let me plug it in and go onto it using that motorola mobile phone tools?

Someone please help me! I called them and they told me to press the first number, say I wanted 13. They said to press one and hold down 3, but that doesn't work. On one didget speed dials, I have to hold down the number. I really need help on this one!
