Definitely go with the LG enV3. It's a great phone. It's normally pretty cheap with a plan, the keyboard is really comfortable, it's reliable/durable, and it's a flip-phone.

I am looking at buying MyTouch online and wonder if I will have to get a new SIM card, which won't be cheap at T-Mobile store, I am sure.

You should be able to use the sim card you have now from your flip phone in the MyTouch.

I have a "microSD" card along with the USB to upload music with. I have put songs onto the card. They show up on my sync list...but once I put the card back into my cell, the songs are no where to be found. I have tried searching the net for answers, but haven't come up with any. Can anyone help me out??

Did you format the card? if you haven't, just erase eveything from the card and insert it into the phone. I'm not sure what ur menu is like, but I have the lg chocolate.
If it is formated or ur not sure, Look to see if u have 4 folders. music, photos, sound and video. If you have that and you draged and dropped to the music folder...then I'm not sure what happened.
You can also turn the phone on and off. Then you may find ur music. ^^ I hope I helped
