SPOKANE-- Two people arrested last week for allegedly snatching purses are back in jail. Spokane police re-arrested 24-year-old Andrew Auerbach and 21-year-old Samantha Thomas Wednesday. The duo is accused of stealing a purse Tuesday night at the Walmart on North Colton. Police said Auerbach and Thomas grabbed a woman’s purse out of her grocery cart. In regards to the June 14 Village of Angel Fire Council meeting, I would like to say “Thank You Christy Germscheid” for supporting Angel Fire Police Chief Mike Collins’ proposed ordinance to ban cell phone usage while driving and offering to amend it to banning “texting.”
