I have used Motorola Mobile phone Tools Version 3.x in the past but I had to say my Razr V3 was a V660 to get it to work. Then I ran the UPDATE on Mobile Phone Tools which automatically increased me to the 4.x version..

Are you using a Razr V3, V3m, V3t, or V3xx? I had to use Mobile Phone Tools for my V3 from Cingular, then I ended upgrading to the V3xx form Cingular, I still can use MPT, but since I have a 1GB memory card in it I do not need to use MPT any longer. I am running Windows XP so it recognizes my Razr as a Mass Storage Device. I can now transfer all my MP3's, Videos, and Pics just as you would hooking up a USB Thumbdrive or Mass Storage Device..

What do you mean, which one? There is only one current version of Motorola Phone Tools, version 4. The various choices on the Motorola store are just variations on whether you need a USB cable or a CD. Assuming you already have a USB cable, just download MPT from http://www.store.motorola.com
