what software do I need to download my ring tones to my Motorola v325 cell phone? I have the driver +usb cable but not clear how I can access the cell phone. I also have "motorola phone tools v4" and can access the phone, but not all the setting like the ringer.

  4. MPT V4 fully supports the Ringtones. You should re-read the help files on MPT. Once MPT is running, it will allow any compatible ringtone to be transferred. My guess is you are not using the right formatted files for the V325. probably MIDI files are best on the V325.

  6. most of those items only allow your phone to tether and act like a modem. use your get it now feature, it will be quicker, though it may cost you, your phone cannot support any other external memory. so if you do find someone out there who has a 3rd party “freeware” keep in mind that sound may crash your phone. and it wont be covered under warranty

  8. Your company my be preventing you from transfering ringtones to your phone. I heard that Verizon has some sort of block so that you will have to buy ringtones from them. You could try to go to these websites (see below) and e-mail the ringtones to your phone. If you don’t know your phone’s e-mail address, try sending a message to your inbox from your phone then hit reply.

  10. I think its a pain to use a cable so I use Phone Sherpa. You upload the whole song to the editor, pick the part you want and send the ringtone directly to the phone.
